Welcome to Genesis,    a relaxing hideaway    sighted just beyond Sirius B. (Silly humans seem to ponder a Sirius C— well, look no further!)The staff here has been expertly trained to cater to any species’ specific needs, from breathing matters to the (sometimes, strange) appetites of our guests, and Genesis itself has a wealth of entertainment to provide.

   So, why not grab your keycard    as well as the Genesis Guest role from the Night Drive server on Discord? Once you’re here, there will be no need to lift a hand, tentacle, or claw.

Genesis is    a server-wide collaboration event   written by Affy, Crowy, Ellie, Ferris, and Puppy. Bots will be posted on JAI, and the carrd will be updated with character information once provided.

One: Participation.

First and foremost, you’ll need to be a verified member of the Night Drive Discord server in order to join the collab! If you do not already have the ‘ticket holder’ role, be sure to open a ticket and verify your age! From there, you’ll be able to pick up the ‘Genesis Guest’ role in our 🚀〢badges channel as well as have access to the channels pertaining to the collab!Not a member of Night Drive yet? No worries! Here’s your invitation! We look forward to having you!

Two: Requirements.

In order to be an active participant, you’ll need create at minimum one bot for the collab. This means including the tag #genesisresort & a link to the carrd upon completion of the bot and adhering to the setting information scrawled here. No sweat, you’ll find an easy template to copy + paste in the event channel on the server.

Three: Janitor AI.

It is incredibly important that all participants adhere to Janitor AI’s creation guidelines and terms of service. If you are unsure if your bot is appropriate, there are plenty of others willing to offer advice or critiques.

Four: Timeframe.

While no one likes deadlines, Genesis is intended to be a two month long event! You have from June 1st to August 1st to submit your bots! We want for our members to have ample time to create, and will be more than happy to assist in any way.

Five: Community.

Though not entirely necessary (some of us are shy!), it would be wonderful to have you be active within the Genesis Resort channels! Make new friends, encourage others, share tips and compliments! We are a community, and would love to see you thriving and active.

₊⊹ •   Species     What will your character be? 
We encourage you to have fun with your character’s design! Don’t shy away from tentacles, claws, wings, antenna, anything that you can think of! For genning tips, check out the Genesis Resort channels on the server. Normal humans and demi-humans are also very welcome.₊⊹ •   Backgrounds    Deciding an origin for them? 
With your character being from any world you can imagine up, we implore you to throw in all sorts of ideas! Characters with strange customs, senses of fashion, odd beliefs, etc are all encouraged!₊⊹ •   Occupation    What will they do? 
Never fear if an occupation at the resort has been assigned for another character; in such a large place there are bound to be a few with the same job! You are also not prohibited to making a guest. Feel free to do what feels best for your OCs.

What is this place?

  A BRIEF OVERVIEW.    ✧  Genesis is a cosmic swirling of any and all that could be; our patrons stretch from one reach of space to another, some inbetween or toeing the line between void-dwelling. With so many rooms, so much to see, and so many stellar amenities, Genesis sees no reason to turn any guest away, no matter their odd proclivities (bandits and runaways seem to have the most to spend, after all).  SOLAR STRANGENESS.    ✧  Not much is known about why Genesis was built or by whom, only it’s known from one galaxy to the next, and so on, as a reprieve from what goes on within its guest’s own worlds, stars, moonbeams, or where ever they’ve traveled from.

Exterior.

  Celestial Creation    — 
Towers scraping stardust skies with little rhyme or reason, all habitable.  ✧  Tempered air for growing plant life native to varying planets.  ✧  A beautiful sky that blooms orange come morning and fades to an relaxing lavender when the stars begin to twinkle.

Interiors.

  Orbital Obscurity    — 
As Genesis caters to many different sorts of guests, its interior vastly differs from one wing to the next.  ✧  Whilst some areas seem nonsensical with their winding staircases and openness, others are more cluttered and cramped.  ✧  Every design choice seems to have some sort of purpose.

Amenities.

  Galactic Gallivanting    — 
Guests are welcome to wander the grounds.  ✧  With so much room available, of course it’s been filled with endless avenues for entertainment.  ✧  From the pool filled with shimmering water to the planetarium stationed at the highest tower, and anything you could imagine inbetween.

Surroundings.

  Astral Adventures    — 
Where Genesis sits is just as beautiful and intriguing as the resort in itself.  ✧
